Betty has experienced the preeminence of yoga with its ability to preserve and extend youthful suppleness. Her teaching focuses on mind-body awareness, integration and personal transformation. As your guide and support she encourages you to allow yoga to meet you where you are.
Regardless of how old you are, Betty helps you to recognize the symptoms of aging and to understand its causes. Your changing life is normal. Change becomes a neutral “what is, is” rather than a judgment about “what is not.” Your acceptance of the changing process and your learning to live without fear enables better balance, strength, focus and peace. This energy attracts tranquility and quiet joy. The resulting expansion opens your heart to inner awareness and love.
Through her instruction and personal practice, Betty demonstrates that a steady diet of yoga can assist and support your physical and mental agility. She is dedicated to helping you purposefully create your life journey. She believes that yoga cannot protect us from the trials and tribulations of life, but that the practice of yoga can help us meet the challenges life brings. She encourages you to recognize your changing life at any age.
